In the course of the morning, large numbers of reeds are brought to the king's royal residence. These reeds are distributed to the girls participating in the ceremony as soon as they start moving towards the entrance of the king's residence in the early afternoon. These reeds are supposed to be used to build a hut inside the outer palisade of this residence, but it would seem that this part of the ceremony is not actually observed.
