Rituals of Healing

Today, both rural and urban Africans combine the traditional methods of healing with Western medicine in order to obtain the best health care possible. Using the variety of therapeutic mechanisms available to them, the arts of healing in Africa today help many people come to terms with the ever-changing world around them, as did the ancestors before them.
